Testing, Testing...

Date: 3rd Feb 2019 @ 8:00am

After the excitement of last week's trip and our CPR training, matters were a bit more mundane this week as we sat our progress tests.  These are vital as we track the children's progress through the year ( we are coming up to half way through already!).  Year 6 attempted the 2016 SATs papers, as preparation for May, whilst Year 5 sat a full range of maths and English tests.  The children have worked incredibly hard on this.

Tuesday saw us down in the forest getting muddy.  And icy.  And wet.  And well, everything really!  Mrs Booth had prepared an obstacle course for us, and our session just happened to coincide with the worst snow of the week!  We had a marvellous time!

In topic we are looking at all things China, and in particular the Shang dynasty.  We will continue this week, and to make it even more interesting, it's Chinese New Year too!

You should have received letters about our trip to the Lyceum in Crewe to see the Tom Gates play.  You can find out more about the show here:
