during the Summer term of 2009.
Visit to Fordhall Farm - June 2009
The whole school visited Fordhall Farm near Market
The children learned about the animals and how a
farm is operated.
Class 2 Literacy
The junior class spent time studying different forms of poetry such as the Japanese Haiku, and
Tanka together with Cinquain (5 line poetry) and Clerihews (whimsical 4 line biographical
poem).  Wikipedia explains more about the different poetic forms.

Woore Summer Fête
The annual village fête took place in July on a lovely
summer day.
The Friends of Woore School raised almost £3,000 for
school funds and the children had a marvelous time in
the dunking pool and showing off their skills gained from
the after school dance classes.
