Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Grade 5 (scp 5), £11.18 per hour
Fixed Term Contract
(April 2023-Jul 2023 in the first instance-with the likelihood to extend this into the next academic year)
Full time 28.75 hours per week
Required from April 2023
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our caring and supportive school. This post will be a full-time position to support children with SEND on a 1:1 and 1:2 basis predominantly within class 1 but also across the school when required. The applicant will be required to work from Monday to Friday from 8.45am-3.00pm with a half hour lunch break.
The successful applicant will:
Have a good understanding of the National Curriculum
- Have experience with working with children with additional needs
- Be dedicated to support pupils with SEND
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and positive behaviour management
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Be innovative and resourceful
- Have energy, enthusiasm and drive
- Have a sense of humour and fun
