Nursery Assistant-1:1 Support
Grade 5 (scp 6), £11.38 per hour
Fixed Term Contract -October 2023-End December 2023
(Dependant on funding, this contract may be renewed for the spring and summer terms 2024)
Part-time 15 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled nursery assistant to join our caring and supportive nursery which is part of our small rural primary school. This post will be a part-time position and the successful candidate will be required to have a good working knowledge of the EYFS 2021 curriculum and experience with working with children from 2-5 years. A relevant qualification in Early Years will be required. This post will be to specifically support an individual child in the setting. The applicant will be required to work mornings from Monday to Friday (8.30-11.30).
The successful applicant will:
- Have a good understanding of the EYFS 2021
- Have a relevant EYFS qualification
- Have experience with working with very young children
- Have experience of planning and resourcing the curriculum
- Have a kind, patient and caring nature
- Be dedicated to support pupils with SEND
- Be innovative and resourceful
- Have energy, enthusiasm and drive
- Have a sense of humour and fun
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
