Nursery 1:1 Assistant

Grade 5 (scp 6), £12.38 per hour

 Fixed Term Contract – November 2024 to end March 2025

(It will be more than likely that this post will extend to the end of the summer term 2024 with a possibility of extension thereafter)

Part-time 15 hours per week

Required as soon as possible

 We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled nursery assistant to join our caring and supportive nursery which is part of our small rural primary school. This post will be a part-time position and the successful candidate will be required to have a good working knowledge of the EYFS 2023 curriculum and experience with working with children from 2-5 years. A relevant qualification in Early Years will be required. This post will be to specifically support an individual child in the setting. The applicant will be required to work mornings from Monday to Friday (8.45-11.45).

The successful applicant will:

·Have a good understanding of the EYFS 2023

·Have a relevant and DFE approved Early Years qualification

·Have experience with working with very young children

·Have experience of planning and resourcing the curriculum

·Have a kind, patient and caring nature

·Be dedicated to support pupils with SEND

·Be innovative and resourceful

·Have energy, enthusiasm and drive

·Have a sense of humour and fun

·The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
