Woore school is situated in the North East corner of Shropshire,

bordering the counties of Staffordshire and Cheshire. The school

is a happy and secure place where there is an emphasis on high

standards within a caring and sensitive ethos.  We value all

children and their families as members of our school community.

The school has two modern classrooms, each are fully equipped

with computers and interactive white boards. Central to the

school is a well-appointed hall.

The children enjoy learning and

playing in the substantial grounds

surrounded by Shropshire

farmland. The grounds include a

large wild area with a fenced

pond providing a valuable and

unique resource for

environmental education.

We have close links with Saplings Pre-school, organising fund-

raising events as well as sharing work and expertise. The pre-

school sessions are held in the school in a further classroom

equipped for early years education.
