Settling in

Date: 1st Oct 2019 @ 7:29pm

The children in Class 1 have settled in really well. We have relabelled all our classroom drawers before starting a block of work on Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children have been working on descriptions of the characters before having a go themselves at writing the story. In maths year one children have been counting in twos as well as writing numbers in words, spelling in maths! We are now looking at the pairs of numbers that make 10 or ‘number bonds’ and this has been set as my maths homework if you’d like to practice at home. There are lots of different ways to practise including the ‘darts’ game on espresso. There’s even a song! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=poJmS5iWfEs
