Shrewsbury Prison!

Date: 12th Nov 2021 @ 2:46pm

As part of our History topic (Crime and Punishment), we went to Shrewsbury Prison! We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history of the prison, having a look at the different cells through time and having the chance to be locked in a cell!

Here are some quotes from the children:

'It was fascinating!'

'I loved hearing the ghost stories!'

'I enjoyed learning about the history of the prison!'

'We enjoyed the team building games using prison matresses.'

'I found it interesting learning about 'The Execution Room.'

'I loved how we were locked in a cell!'

'Being locked in a cell and trying to escapse was fun and exciting!'

'I found the pillories and stocks interesting.'
