Welcome to Class 2.

We are a mixed age range class of 18 children. We have 7 Y2s, 5 Y3s, and 6 Y4s.

Our teachers in Class 2 are Mr Davies and Mrs Battrick.

Our teaching assistant is Mrs Wicks.

Our P.E sessions are rather different this half term as we head to Nantwich pool for our block of swimming lessons.  Children will need to bring their swimming kit and a towel.

Forest School is on Thursday afternoons 1 -2.

Homework is weekly and consists of Spelling Shed and MathShed.   We have weekly Spelling Shed activities to help us prepare for our weekly spelling test and a MathsHub task.  Homework tasks will be set on a Friday to be handed in on the following Friday.  

We would also like children to read with an adult at home at least three times a week. Children will earn a star on their reading rocket every time they read at home with an adult. Regular readers will be entered into a draw each half term for a book prize.  Year 2 children and those who are doing Little Wandle phonics will have a group book to read and a sharing book to bring home too.

Children should bring a named water bottle with them each day and a raincoat.  Hats and gloves will be needed as the weather is still unreliable!
