Music

Our music curriculum aims to engage and inspire pupils to develop a love of music.  Our intention is that children will gain a firm understanding of what music is through listening, singing, playing, evaluating, analysing, and composing across a wide variety of historical periods, styles, traditions, and musical genres.   This is achieved through our adoption the Charanga model music curriculum.   Pupils are given the opportunity to develop their skills as musicians through the teaching of instruments and, as singers in whole school performances.  In doing so we shall, increase their self-confidence, creativity and sense of achievement.
